Margaret was previously the SVP Product & GM of Heroku at Salesforce. We just sat down for 15 minutes to talk about Margaret’s background, her motivations for joining Armory, and the opportunities she sees for Armory to make an impact on the future of software delivery:
Margaret shared her experiences at previous companies and we discussed the historic pain points companies have had delivering software to production, how philosophically aligned Margaret is around the importance of developer empowerment, and the opportunity Armory has to create a new kind of cloud-native software delivery platform for enterprises to unlock value.
“What’s amazing to me is that the world is built with incredible humans that want to be creative makers, and write software that changes the experiences we have; how they’re powered, delivered, defined and created. Unlocking the creative potential – the productive potential- of those people, wherever they sit, wherever they practice their craft, is hugely meaningful to me as progress towards equality.” – Margaret
We also discussed Armory’s SaaS Cloud offering and how we can enable companies to achieve both safety and velocity, while shifting security and compliance left in the SDLC.
As we scale Armory, it’s a pleasure to bring incredible leaders like Margaret into the company to further position us for rapid growth. And we’re hiring across most departments. Come build the future with us!
